Hong Kong is an exciting modern metropolis steeped in a unique blend of western and eastern culture. A 2-night stopover will give you a chance to recuperate from your flight and get a good impression of the city as well. Transport and day trips are easy to arrange once you reach Hong Kong.

Our most popular hotel is located in southern Kowloon near the famous shopping street Nathan Road. However we also offer a room with a view of the spectacular Hong Kong skyline in the luxurious Harbour View Hotel. A third option is a budget hotel on the beach on Lantau Island, just outside the centre of Hong Kong.

Please keep in mind: there are countless hotels in Hong Kong, however during Christmas and during the month of October (a popular convention month) there is a shortage in hotel rooms. Prices per room will therefore be much higher during these times of the year, sometimes even double the normal rate. Prices below are based on low season travel; during some periods you'll pay a surcharge.

Hotel Kowloon

Well maintained, middle-sized hotel ideally located in East Kowloon. The hotel has a warm and inviting bar that plays music, a restaurant that serves Chinese and western dishes and it has a few stores. Your room will have a radio, satellite TV, mini bar, hair dryer, coffee/tea maker, a safe and air conditioning. The hotel is within walking distance from all kinds of shops and close to the metro station. There are plenty of busses around the hotel for you to choose from. This clean, yet affordable hotel is one of our favourite accommodations in Hong Kong.

This elegant 5 star waterfront hotel on the banks of Victoria Harbour is perfect for pampering yourself at the start or finish of your Australia trip. Enjoy the delightful decadence of a rooftop swimming pool, a Jacuzzi, a pool bar and more….. The view of skyscrapers, massages and the sauna will make you forget about all your cares and the fact that you still have some flying time ahead of you. Directly in front of the hotel a boulevard lies along the water. Tsimshatsui, the shopping and restaurant area in Kowloon is only a 5 minute walk away. As you would expect in a luxury hotel, all hotel rooms have every modern comfort imaginable and the level of service and the hospitality of the staff is memorable.

Silvermine Beach Hotel - Lantau Island

The Silvermine Beach Hotel is located at Silvermine Bay in Mui Wo and lies directly on a sandy beach and the southern China Sea. The hotel is a comfortable 3 star low rise accommodation with spacious rooms. Your room will have a bathroom, sitting area with tv, mini-bar, an air conditioning and more. The hotel has a well-kept garden with swimming pool, tennis courts, a health club and a sauna. The hotel also has a bar, restaurant and a barbecue area. An excellent breakfast buffet is included during your stay. Mountain bikes can be rented at the hotel and the Lantau pier is a short walk away.

Lantau is only a short trip away from Kowloon. From Mui Wo it’s a 1 hour boat ride to Kowloon’s Pier 7. The ferry departs every 40 minutes from 6:00 - 24:00 and costs HK$ 12. There’s also a hovercraft that travels from Peng Chau to Pier 6 in 40 minutes for approximately HK$ 22.
