Sydney is THE place to start an East Coast Australia trip. This cosmopolitan city on the waterfront has friendly green neighbourhoods and a laidback atmosphere. The sun is almost always shining and famous beaches such as Bondi and Manly Beach are nearby. You'll be surrounded by 'Aussies' who really know how to enjoy life, relaxing on benches, terraces, in parks and especially the neighbourhood cafés at Darling Harbour and the Rocks. It won't be long before you slip into the 'no worries mate' state of mind! Just an hour from Sydney lies a mountainous area with spectacular views, great trails for bush walks and an abundance of wild kangaroos. During this East Coast Australia tour, you'll take a short trip into the magical 'Blue Mountains' to meet the roos. You'll travel in a small international group from Sydney to the mountains, where you'll set off on a hike through forests and down steep valleys, past waterfalls and rock formations. From time to time, you'll come across Australia's giant hopping teddy bear, the kangaroo. There are heaps of them living in this park and as they can be quite cheeky, you might actually be able to get quite close. At the end of the day, a train will take you on a spectacular trip down the mountain. Once you reach the base of the mountain you'll return to Sydney where you'll spend the night.

This East Coast Australia tour, offers you a great way to visit the Great Barrier Reef. This reef, off the coast of Queensland, is a UNESCO protected natural habitat and stretches for 1700km along the coast from Cairns to Brisbane. During this 3-day live-aboard diving trip from Cairns, you'll spend two nights in a cabin and sail towards the outer reef, where you'll go on a maximum of 11 dives to explore the magnificent marine life. Those who don't dive can join this trip at a discount and go snorkelling instead. The trip is organised by a professional diving school with years of experience. During this East Coast Australia tour, you'll discover the most remote parts of the reef.
