The freedom of having access to your own car during your Australia trip is an incredible experience. It's probably the best possible way to travel through this country. Driving distances are significant; however, you're free to plan your days as you wish, to start driving when you wish, to stop off for lunch when and where you wish and to decide what you want to see along the way. Below we have a summary of the types of hire cars offered by Australia Travel Plan. Instead of providing you with a long, boring list of rates and travel periods, we've kept the list short and sweet and provide you with a clear distinction between the different types of cars. The prices mentioned below are valid per car per day and include standard car insurance, unlimated kilometres and a 10% car hire tax that must be paid in Australia. Prices are valid through March 31st, 2010.

Please note: the prices quoted for the land cruiser are also applicable for car hire in Alice Springs and Darwin.
