Australia Outback tours: Ayers Rock The magical red rock
This is one of our most popular Australia Outback tours. During the trip, you'll spend three days exploring Ayers Rock, the red marble rocks of the Olgas and rugged Kings Canyon Gorge. You'll begin in the Flying Doctors town of Alice Springs before heading into the desert and you'll reach Ayers Rock in time to watch the sun set behind it. A guide will tell you all about Uluru's history, and also about the first inhabitants of Australia, the Aboriginals, who consider Ayers Rock to be sacred. After you've watched the sun rise the following day, you'll continue travelling towards Kings Canyon where you'll hike along the top of the gorge before continuing into the gorge itself. You'll pass lush green ferns and cool pools of water perfect for a refreshing swim. After a night of camping here you'll travel through the West MacDonnall ranges back to Alice Springs.

This 3 day trip will take you to an area filled with crocodiles, brooks and mangroves, as well as real Australian cowboys. You'll travel by 4x4 from Darwin to the giant termite hills at Litchfield and Kakadu National Park before sailing across the silent waters of the Mary River in search of crocs and the holy town of Ubirr. You'll also learn the legends behind the Aboriginal rock drawings. If you travel during the right season, you'll also visit the spectacular Jim Jim and Twin Falls, deep in Kakadu territory. At night you'll sleep in modest, tidy tents for 4 people.

During this Australia Outback tour, you'll visit all of most beautiful natural parks surrounding Darwin. A 4x4 and minibus will take you through both the well known and the more remote areas of Australia's largest national park, Kakadu. You'll visit the impressive Jim Jim Falls and Twin Falls, see aboriginal rock paintings, take a dip waterfalls at Litchfield and trek up the steep cliffs at Katherine. During this tour, you'll travel in a small group of international travellers lead by an Aussie guide. You'll sail through the wetlands, spot crocodiles, swim under waterfalls, listen to aboriginal stories and sleep in the open air in a tent.
