Route: Sydney > Ayers Rock - Kings Canyon - Alice Springs - Cattle Station - Katherine Gorge - Darwin - Kakadu > Cairns - Cape Tribulation - Palm Cove - Cairns
This is a compact and comprehensive itinerary featuring our most unforgettable Australia experiences! This itinerary will be perfect if you have about three weeks available to travel, but you don't want to drive yourself and would prefer to fly over longer distances. For part of the trip, you'll travel in a small international group with a local guide. However, during your stay in the cities, such as the cosmopolitan Sydney, you'll be on your own to explore at your own pace. You'll end your Australia trip by spending several days relaxing on beautiful tropical beaches near Cape Tribulation, snorkelling on the magnificent Great Barrier Reef. Route: Sydney > Ayers Rock - Kings Canyon - Alice Springs > Darwin - Kakadu > Cairns - Cape Tribulation - Palm Cove - Cairns, hire car to Brisbane
Experience vibrant Sydney, the emptiness of the Outback desert, croc-hunting river cruises, the Great Barrier Reef and the tropical beaches of the Pacific Ocean with this comprehensive 4-week Australia itinerary. This is the ideal holiday if you've got a little more time to spend in Australia and your keen to venture out on your own four wheels by hire car. The itinerary starts in Sydney and continues into the vast Outback and the wetlands of Kakadu. You'll explore these beautiful areas in small, international groups led by an enthusiastic Australian guide. Then, you'll fly on to Cairns where you'll pick up your hire car and travel independently along the east coast to Brisbane. During your road trip, you'll stop off to have a go at sailing around the Whitsunday Islands, experience life on an Australian farm and visit the largest sand island in the world - Fraser Island. Australia itinerary #3: small group travel and 4x4 overland truck tour Roughing it in Australia
Route: Darwin - Kakadu/Litchfield > Alice Springs - Ayers Rock - Kings Canyon > Cairns - Cape Tribulation - Fitzroy Island - Cairns > Sydney
Do you enjoy the great outdoors and yearn to get off the beaten track in a rugged 4X4? Would you prefer sleeping in a typical Australian swag by a crackling campfire than in a cosy hotel bed? If so, this may be the perfect itinerary. You don't need to be an extreme sports pro or fitness fanatic - you just need a sense of adventure, and a good level of physical fitness. You'll travel from Darwin in a specially equipped 4x4 truck through the dense rainforests of Kakadu National Park. Afterwards, you'll take a 4-day 4x4 trek to Ayers Rock, the Olgas and the remote Palm Valley. Next, you'll relax in Cairns before setting off on a rainforest trip to Cape Tribulation. Australia itinerary #4: small group travel Oz east coast escape
Route: Sydney to Cairns or vice versa, with international group and guide
This East Coast Australia itinerary is popular with young, individual travellers or travellers who don't want to any driving themselves. You'll travel as part of an international group from Sydney to Cairns or vice versa in 14 days. During the road trip, you'll visit the late Steve Irwin's Australia Zoo, sail around the Whitsunday Islands, stay at an outback cattle station (a large cattle farm) and take a 4x4 safari on one of the largest sand islands in the world - Fraser Island. Meals Breakfast is included during your stay at bed & breakfast style accommodation during our Australia itineraries. Meals are generally not included at hostels and other accommodations. However, these places usually do have their own restaurant. Tweaking your itinerary... Perhaps you would like to spend an additional night in one particular city or on the beach?
